Junior Cs lose to Russell Rovers

The Junior Cs were away to Russell Rovers on Sunday afternoon and lost on a scoreline of 4-7 (19) to 1-6 (9).

There’s a significant challenge for our club in getting three adult teams out overt three days, with many players turning up for two teams.  We had two adult teams out on Sunday and it’s a huge credit to the Junior Cs to have a squad of 18 on the day for an away game, with some players on the bench in the morning and playing in the afternoon of the same day. A good mix of experienced players and new players gave a very good account of themselves.

Squad: Stephen Ryan, Shane Clarke, Colm Curtin, Michael Murphy, Dean Field, Sean O’Leary, Will Sheehy, Cathal Sheehan, Mike O’Riordan, Ross Fahy, Johnny Dorgan, Ciaran O’Leary, Mark Lee, Liam Keane, Olan Hartnett, Billy Ryan, Noel Cahill, Paudie Cahill.

Management: Paddy O’Sullivan, Pat McHugh, Noel Cahill.
