Facilities report
At Park South great progress continues. This week saw the Flood Lights turned on and tested on both pitches. We expect the contractor to be on site this week to begin fitting the shockpad and carpet to the 3G pitch. Lots of Earthmoving, Landscaping and tidying up has also taken place.
In Clonmult our Gym is getting some welcomed TLC, a number of machines have been serviced whilst some others require repairs. Thanks to Pearse Mc Carthy who is assisting with this. Thanks to our CES and Secad staff who are currently painting it and will do likewise in the hallway and dressing rooms areas.
Over the coming weeks we will be replacing the ball stop nets and poles at the Supervalu end and as a result of the recent storm damage we also have to replace both Goalposts. These are currently on order and will be installed as soon as possible.
All pitches remain closed and this will be monitored on a weekly basis, use of our side field, gym and ball alley need to be booked in advance. We are currently going through a new online Booking platform with the provider, we hope to have all pitches and our rental areas in Clonmult available.
We would ask all members to play their part and to be vigilant around the Club premises. Unfortunately, we have had some anti-social behaviour of late.
To all teams please ensure that the rear car park is used for all for training, turn off the floodlights and make sure that the dressing rooms and gates are all closed as you go.
Thanks to everyone for your cooperation and patience.
