LADIES FOOTBALL
MUNSTER FINAL
On Saturday we traveled to Mallow to play in our first ever Junior A Munster final.
It was an extremely tight game with both sides evenly matched but we could not get the scores on the board. We cannot fault the effort the ladies put in. They fought so hard all over the pitch but it was Mungret St Paul’s who finished with a two point win.
Final score was Midleton 0-5 Mungret St Paul 0-7.
Well done to the entire panel and their management for all your efforts over the year.
UNDER 10S
Well done to our U-10 girls who played in the half-time interval of the Munster final. You all played extremely well.

EAST CORK UNDER 21 B CHAMPIONSHIP
MIDLETON 1-13 ST. COLMAN'S 3-14
Our U-21 B team travelled to Cloyne on Sunday morning to take on St Colman's (Cloyne and Russell Rovers) in the East Cork Championship.
Fielding a very young side we were 0-4 to 0-2 ahead after 14 minutes through points from Nicky Coughlan, Daniel Garde (2) and Matthew McSweeney.
St. Colman's struck back with two goals but points from Daniel Garde (3) and Nicky Coughlan saw us trail by three at the half-time break on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-8.
Two points from St. Colman's and two frees from Daniel Garde saw us trail by three before St. Colman's struck a decisive third goal in the 35th minute.
But our lads never gave in and kept going to the final whistle and a late Nicky Coughlan goal just came a little too late for us as we lost out by seven points in the end.
