LADIES FOOTBALL
MUNSTER FINAL BOUND
Congratulations to our Junior Ladies Football team who have reached the Munster Final.
Last Saturday in Lismore they defeated Shamrocks of Waterford 6-18 to 2-7.
Midleton took control of the game early on and never looked back. A great team effort. Well done to all the players and management. They will now play Mungrets St Paul of Limerick on Saturday November 9 in Mallow GAA. Time to be confirmed. Best of luck to you all.
Keep an eye on our social media pages over the next few days for match details. Let’s get behind the Ladies for Saturday week.
MINORS

It was a very difficult game from start to finish but the girls battled on and to their credit against all obstacles they came away with a superb win. Final score was Midleton 2-10 to Valley Rovers 0-6. They are now through to a semi-final against Tadgh MacCaraighs. Match details tbc.

FÉ13S
Well done to our Fé13s on winning the Carrigoon Mallow Tournament at the weekend after beating Ballincollig by 1-5 to 0-4 in the final.
Congratulations to Mallow GAA Club for hosting a great competition with 15 teams from all over the country.
FÉ14S
A super busy final weekend for the Fé14s.
First up was the division 1 football league final away to Glenville on Friday night under lights.
A close first-half saw only two points between the teams at 1-6 to 1-4 to Midleton.
Our lads took control from the start of the second-half and finished deserved winners.
Captain on the night was Tiernan Galvin. Final score: Midleton 2-12 Glenville 1-4.
Next up was Sunday's C3 football league final away to St Finbarrs.
Again both teams played some great football and Midleton had a slight edge on a score of 2-4 to 1-5 at the midway point.
The Barrs fought back in second half and it was a level game.
A super save from captain Dylan Barry gave the lads the spark they needed to finish strong.
Final score: Midelton 5-8 St Finbarrs 2-6.
On Monday morning our P1 hurlers were out in the Dick Barrett finals after qualifying the previous weekend.
A semi-final versus Kiltha Óg needed extra time to separate the teams with Midleton progressing to the final.
The final was a repeat of this years' P1 championship final with Ballinora taking the Dick Barrett trophy.
Following this we headed straight to Cloughduv for the C3 hurling playoff.
Again extra-time was needed here to separate the two team. The score was: Midleton 0-13 Cloughduv 2-7 after 60 minutes.
The boys gave it their all in extra-time but a Cloughduv came away with the win.
Final score: Midleton 1-16 Cloughduv 4-11.
Well done all on a fantastic year.
FÉ16S
Well done to our Fé16 footballers who were crowned East Division 1 football champions after their replay win over Aghada in Dungourney on Monday last. Full-time score: Midleton 1-13 Aghada 0-9.
Midleton captain, Darragh Mullins, receiving the trophy.
MINORS
Well done to our Minor footballers who won the East Division 1 football league title on Bank Holiday Monday. Playing out an entertaining game with Youghal and coming out with a 1-8 to 0-9 victory. Most of these lads have come through since U-6. They will now move onto to our Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams. Well done lads and best of luck for the future....

ADULT CLUB
EAST CORK U-21 A HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
MIDLETON 1-18 ERINS OWN 2-13
Our U-21 A hurlers got the defence of their East Cork hurling title off to a winning start after a proper battle away to Erins Own in Caherlag last Saturday.
This was always going to be a difficult opening round assignment and so it proved with Midleton withstanding an excellent second-half comeback from the home side to tough out a very good win.
We got off to the worst possible start as Erins Own had the ball in our net after 53 seconds but we struck back trhough points from Mikey Finn (2) and Rory Hartnett to level the game inside four minutes.
Further points from Bríon Saunderson and Mikey Finn saw us trail by three with 13 minutes to play in the opening period.
We finished the half well with ponts from David Cremin (2), Mikey Finn (2), Conor Morley and Dara Scanlon saw us go into the half-time break in front by two, 0-11 to 1-6.
Erins Own started the second period brightly with the opening two points to cut the gap to one before Peter Barrett billowed the Erins Own net on 36 minutes to put us three up.
Erins Own hit straight back with a point but then we hit a purple patch with five points in a row through David Cremin, Mikey Finn (2) and Peter Barrett (2) to put us seven up (1-16 o 1-9) with 14 minutes to play.
Erins Own then stormed back with 1-4 but two Mikey Finn points saw us hold on for a fine win by two on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13.
Midleton scorers: Mikey Finn 0-9 (0-6 f), Peter Barrett 1-2, David Cremin 0-3, Bríon Saunderson (F), Dara Scanlon, Rory Hartnett and Conor Morley 0-1 each.
MIDLETON: Bríon Saunderson; Alex Moloney, Adam Fay, Tomás Dunlea; Carthraig Cronin, Ciarmhac Smyth, Evan McCarthy; Mikey Finn, Evan McGrath; Rory Hartnett, Alex Quirke, Dara Scanlon; Cathal Beausang, David Cremin, Conor Morley.
